About Brian Way

I am a people-focused, process oriented, growth driven leader with over 20 years of success building businesses. As a serial entrepreneur, I have grown several eCommerce companies from start up to multi-million dollar enterprises and have completed multiple successful mergers and acquisitions. The result of my business efforts is that I understand how businesses make and lose money. The right product, service or project with the right processes and the right people inevitably leads to success. As a leader I am obligated to look for ways to help others. I spend a portion of my time consulting for other companies as well as mentoring budding entrepreneurs. I saved the most important for last: It’s All about the Right People 1. The right people have personal values that closely align with our company’s core values. The right people do not have to be tightly managed. They expect delegation and don’t thrive in a control-oriented hierarchy. The right people understand they don’t have a job; they have a responsibility to achieve results. The right people do what they say they will do and want to be held accountable for results. The right people practice “window/mirror thinking”. When things go well they are transparent, pointing out success factors in others and not taking all the glory. When things don’t go well, the glass window becomes a mirror they face, and take responsibility.
