About Brian White

Brian White is my name, and Food, Beverages & Teamwork is my game. I started from the bottom doing a job I still love to this day washing dishes and keeping kitchens clean. I took a double certificate in Food Services through Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School and got into SSAIT, but ended up taking a Sous Chef position at my company as it was my dream job at the time. Did that job for years, applied my skills, and when I thought I was happy with what I had learned and completed I jumped into the Banquet side of things. I had a great leader and just after a year I took on a Banquet Manager position with our sister company Royal Oak Inn & Suites / Clarion Hotel & Suites and stayed with the company for years working in nearly every department ending with being the Interim General Manager. I moved over to Centerplate at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, Manitoba starting off as the Assistant GM and moved up to General Manager during the pandemic. I love this industry, working well with all my colleagues that want to apply their skills to their max profession. I live by working for what I want, teach, teach, teach, and last but certainly not least never forget where I came from. Update: In September I moved back over to the Clarion Hotel & Suites as General Manager and am working with a great team.
