About Brian Williamson

My favorite quote is “When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” – Leonardo DaVinci I have over 23 years of military service. I started my Army career as an enlisted Air Defender with the Patriot missiles and transitioned to being a Warrant Officer in Army Aviation. I retired from the Army as a Black Hawk Instructor Pilot and Maintenance Test Pilot. I have flown over 1,700 helicopter hours in various missions and environments, including overseas, utility, and VIP operations. I have over 300 General Aviation fixed wing hours with a Commercial Multi Engine Land certificate and an Instrument rating. I have trained and mentored numerous pilots and crew members on flight safety, maintenance procedures, and mission tasks. I am passionate about aviation and I want to transition to the civilian aviation industry, where I can leverage my skills and expertise to serve the community and advance the field of aviation. Currently, I am a First Officer flying the Airbus A320 and continuing to learn more about the airline industry and my aircraft. Family and quality of life is important to me and I’m always seeking my little piece of heaven on earth.
