GRANT WRITING ACCOMPLISHMENTS Responsible for writing successfully funded competitive grant proposals to governmental and private funding sources totaling more than Oversaw the writing and submission of an additional worth of funded competitive grant proposals developed by subordinate grant writing professionals. Developed the first public education grant writing consortium in Wisconsin comprised of twenty school districts; expanded the consortium to thirty-five school districts within four years. Developed an effective grant management tracking system and currently manage nine corporate foundation, eighteen private/civic foundation, eight local government, two state, and six federal funding source grants. Total portfolio of grants currently being managed:$13,009,014. GRANT WRITING KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE Knowledge of, and experience with, the following funding source identification resources: The Federal Register, Grants.gov, public agency and private funding source RSS feeds, federal and state grant-making agency information resources, Foundation’s Center’s Foundation Directory Online, FoundationSearch USA, Big Online, and GuideStar (for private foundation IRS Form 990 returns). Program development facilitation that identifies the programming needs of the applicant organization and the funding desires of the targeted funding source. Persuasive proposal writing, including identifying and quantifying the target or community-based problem to be addressed, establishing appropriate outcome-based goals and objectives, creating realistic project implementation strategies and process benchmarks, developing effective grant management plans, outlining project evaluation strategies using both formative and summative evaluation techniques, and developing comprehensive project budgets.
