How I helped one client: Challenge: Client is in the professional services industry and in a niche business for over 15 years. Their bookkeeper/accountant was becoming increasingly out of touch, and their QuickBooks Online data were cluttered with old information and not up to standards. Solution: • Re-set their Chart of Accounts so that transactions could be entered correctly. • Identified problems in the old QuickBooks Desktop version and imported the correct transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO). • Scrubbed the QBO data, so that no inconsistencies remained. • Set up automatic downloads for all bank and credit card accounts in QBO to lessen the chance for data entry error. • Produced up to date financial statements: Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements. • Engaged the client often, so that I met and exceeded their expectations.
