About Brian Wong

Hailed for his "discernible passion," Brian is a dedicated music director and collaborative pianist who currently serves as a staff pianist at The Juilliard School. His career has been fueled by a commitment to fostering creativity, community, and excellence through music. Brian has been the pianist for residencies of renowned artists such as Lawrence Brownlee, Renée Fleming, Denyce Graves, Simon Estes, Isabel Leonard, and Malcolm Martineau, with notable performances at Alice Tully Hall, the Metropolitan Opera Club, and Carnegie Hall. He has also served as a pianist for esteemed organizations like the Spoleto Festival USA, Oratorio Society of New York, Musica Sacra, Seven Hills Chamber Music Festival, City Lyric Opera, Sarasota Opera, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Throughout his career, Brian has thrived in leadership roles, guiding volunteer choirs and managing diverse music programs with a deep commitment to both artistic integrity and community engagement. His background in project management, event planning, and donor relations has equipped him with a versatile skill set. Brian has been honored with multiple scholarships, including the L&G Goldberg Scholarship, P. & A. Shaffer Scholarship, and the Irene Diamond Fellowship at The Juilliard School. He also holds degrees from The Juilliard School, Eastman School of Music, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Now, as he pivots to a career in data science, Brian brings a unique blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and a collaborative spirit to every project. His passion for bringing people together and creating meaningful experiences will continue to drive his work as he leverages his diverse skills in this new field.
