About Brianna Brand

Dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner, clinical faculty, and aspiring college professor with 3+ years of experience teaching in traditional, accelerated, and veteran Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs. My goals are to expand student knowledge beyond the textbook and into the clinical setting while teaching them to utilize critical thinking, master skills, and provide exceptional bedside care. I am enthusiastic about research, evidenced-based practice, and improving health and healthcare outcomes in children and adolescents primarily in lower-income communities. It is my academic mission as a doctorally-prepared, advanced practice registered nurse, to treat each student with respect, create an inclusive learning environment, and promote honesty, integrity, and compassion in the field of nursing. I am prepared to utilize transformational leadership, evidenced-based practice, and nursing theory to improve patient care delivery and outcomes through the hands of students who are the future of the nursing profession. Received my Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a clinical specialty as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care, and my Certificate in Nursing Education from Wayne State University in 2023. Graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University Of Michigan in 2019.
