About Brianna Mitchell

Serving others is my passion and that is exactly what the hospitality industry is all about. Therefore, I am studying Hospitality Management at Southeast Missouri State University. Specifically, meeting and event planning is what excites me most. My studies have versed me well in the industry as a whole, including that of events, hotels, restaurants, management, and culinary. In addition to learning about the field, I have experience with working events as an Event Planning Intern for Effortless Events, Marketing Events Operations Assistant at Brookfield Zoo. Additionally, I have experience banquet serving and catering. Outside of these, I volunteer regularly and am an active participant of my university's Hospitality Management Student Association where I get opportunities to experience the Hospitality field first hand, outside of the classroom. I hold many executive positions in the clubs I am involved in, including President of my service sorority, president of Club Tennis, and Vice President/Treasurer of our hospitality club. I have excellent organizational, planning, leadership, and time-management skills along with distinguished written and verbal communication skills. Furthermore, I am proficient in desktop applications and I have an eye and flare for design and decorating which suits me well for the world of meeting and event planning.
