About Brianne Wragg

I help kids fall in love with writing—and help families rediscover what learning can look like when creativity leads the way. I’m the founder of Creative Genesis, a vibrant writing mentorship and workshop program for homeschoolers and alternative learners across the U.S. and beyond. I’m a certified confidence coach, DISC facilitator, and passionate learning designer who blends creativity, project-based learning, and mindset coaching to help young writers thrive. Right now, I run Creative Genesis on the Recess platform—a cutting-edge edtech community built specifically for homeschoolers. Through our flagship Writers’ 45 workshops, I coach kids as they write novels, launch blogs, build fantasy worlds, or dive into sci-fi storytelling. Every student brings their own spark—I help them shape it into something powerful. Before launching Creative Genesis, I taught in schools around the world using a range of curricula (IB, Cambridge, Common Core, UK National Curriculum, Victorian). I’ve been a classroom teacher, a freelance writer, a curriculum designer, and a mentor—but no matter the title, I’ve always been a teacher at heart. My time at Synthesis, an innovative STEM program, gave me the space to reimagine writing education—and bring Creative Genesis to life.
