About Brid Ryan

I live on the outskirts of a quaint village in North Tipperary. In my free time, I enjoy reading, farming, and socializing with various different personalities. I have volunteered while in secondary school, where I was responsible for setting up a Tractor Run as a way of fundraising for my school. I am currently a 4th year Business student in Technological University of Shannon (TUS). I am a flexible, dedicated and ambitious student with a passion for a career in Business, particularly Accounting and Data Analytics. I thoroughly enjoy my course and I could not imagine being in any other course!I work part time as a Sales Assistant and Office Administrator in Doran Oil. Some of my duties include inputting of sales and purchases invoices, general book keeping duties, liaising with customers and delivery drivers, sales and use of the Herbst Accounts system.I completed a summer internship in Templemore Credit Union where I gained extensive knowledge in financial business. Some of my responsibilities included drawing down loans, handling cash, card, cheque and EFT transactions, lodging money in to customers' accounts, handling large volumes of cash and customer care and focus. My values include equality, honesty, trustworthiness, and work-life balance. I enjoy talking to people with different personalities as it grows my communication skills and I get to know more about the person! I am skilled and confident in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Sage, HubSpot, Progress Banking, Core, and IBM SPSS. I am currently seeking a challenging job in a fast-paced business environment where I can utilize my new skills and qualifications and develop new ones.
