About Bridget Foley
At James Madison University the idea to "Be The Change" was instilled upon us- to make a difference in our communities and be the advocate for those unable to do so themselves. Working as a leader in the Non-profit sector has allowed me to reach out and make a positive impact on an international level. Working with the Multi-Family industry I have been able to provide the opportunity to engage with residents and industry leaders in community service. By offering residents the option of donating their food when they move, Multi-Family professionals are able to truly make an impact in the lives of people who struggle with food insecurity and help fight the food waste epidemic in the process. Currently, I am the Director of Multi-Family Programs here at Move For Hunger. Move For Hunger is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that mobilizes the Relocation and Mullti-Family industries to fight hunger and reduce food waste. Since 2009, we have delivered over 16 million pounds of food to those in need, feeding over 13 million people in the U.S. and Canada.
