I have made a career out of ensuring food safety. For me, that means promoting the highest quality in organic products and maintaining controls on pesticides and crop additives. The best way to promote this is through high-quality education and support of regulatory laws. Therefore, I enjoy engaging with growers and other stakeholders to help them with their certification process, earn education college credits, and give them high-quality plans and procedures to ensure compliance. I also enjoy working with an active and friendly team that is similarly committed to helping our farmers and food packagers. Together we can perform the inspections, deal with the needed paperwork in a timely manner that promotes great interactions between the agricultural commissioner's offices, the food companies, and the growers.
