Background

About Bridget Keaveney

As a passionate young advocate, I embrace opportunities to promote culture, education, and social values that preserve the dignity and safety of all people. My enthusiasm for community-based advocacy has led me to Waseda University's Graduate School of International Culture and Communication Studies (GSICCS), where my goal is to build upon the lessons of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and reparatory justice that I gained during my time as a Policy Fellow in Washington, D.C. I have extensive experience in work centered on uplifting and celebrating the rich histories and contributions of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community in the United States. I look forward to expanding upon this work and my understanding of cross-cultural solidarity in movement-building during my time in Tokyo, Japan.
