About Bridget Lea

C-suite retail and digital leader with a 25+ year track record of delivering for customers, driving growth, transformation and culture change across iconic brands including Snapchat, BT, Sainsbury’s, O2 and Topshop. At the heart of my career is a deep passion for the customer, so I’ve spent years reinventing retail: modernising legacy businesses, accelerating digital transformation and making brands relevant to new generations through omni-channel, social-first strategies. I’ve led end-to-end transformation at scale, managing £multi-billion P & Ls, inspiring and energising large scale teams, reshaping customer experiences, restructuring retail estates and launching digital and Gen Z focussed growth plans. I’m pragmatic in my approach and am known for turning strategy into action with clarity, pace and purpose to deliver real-world results. As an Exec board member I influence peers, regulators and governments to deliver lasting value for our business and our customers. As Chair of Manchester Metropolitan University and NED at Marston’s PLC, I bring a governance mindset grounded in integrity, performance and people. What drives me? Doing a better job for customers - whilst unlocking commercial growth through clarity of purpose and using business as a force for good to create space for future leaders to thrive. Currently transitioning from Snap after a successful tenure, taking time to reflect and explore CEO opportunities across retail, digital, or growth-focused businesses.
