About Bridget Marfo

I have an MASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University, specializing in power distribution systems, battery management systems for electric vehicles and electric aircraft. I am experienced with using machine learning and scalable approaches like federated learning to improve the reliability and intelligence of battery systems. Driven by a passion for smart, sustainable energy systems, I apply deep learning, anomaly detection, and battery prognostics to advance next-generation electric propulsion. My work at McMaster Automotive Resource Center (MARC) with Eaton Aerospace lab includes modeling critical components such as batteries, PMSMs, and SSPCs, while contributing to the development of safe and efficient power distribution architectures. With experience spanning both grid-based infrastructure and electric vehicles modelling and aerospace electrification, I’m committed to building intelligent energy systems that support the future of mobility and autonomy.
