About Bridget Wiczkowski

I am an outdoor enthusiast with experience in both collegiate recreation departments and leadership roles related to outdoor programming. I have worked as a Senior Field Instructor at Wingate Wilderness Therapy for the past year, which allowed me to gain valuable outdoor leadership experience working with at-risk teens and young adults. While I was attending Duquesne University working towards two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Health Sciences, I was working in the recreation department on campus. I worked as a member of the floor staff before becoming certified as an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. Once certified, I used my training to become the primary personal trainer for students, faculty and staff at Duquesne University. I also became the fitness manager of the personal training program and had an active role in event promotion and program marketing. I recently became certified as a Sports Nutritionist and I am looking for a role that would allow me to combine my fitness, nutrition, and outdoor leadership experiences together.
