About Bridget Wilgus

I am Bridget Wilgus, Associate Director of Therapeutic Support Programs for SESI Inc. I am responsible for 5 programs, overseeing 17 staff members. My career began in the education field in November of 2010. My journey began as a substitute teacher at a school for children with special needs. I then got a position working as a paraprofessional at that same school. I did this up until September 2016. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in December of 2016. My first teaching position was in Phoeniz, Arizona as a 5th grade teacher. The following year, I then worked as a 4th grade teacher in Snellville, Georgia. In August 2019, I got hired in Cambridge, Md as a middle/high school alternative teacher. The following year I worked as an elementary therapeutic support program teacher for SESI Inc. In October of 2021, I was promoted to associate director of the therapeutic support programs, which is my current position. My background is quite lengthy and broad within the world of education. Through my journey, I have worked with many different populations of students. I excel in building relationships with my students, creating fun lessons to engage students, and take on leadership roles frequently. I care about the students and keep their best interest in mind at all times. I have an eye for detail and want to make sure everything is always up to par.
