About Bridgette Pulliam

I am a third-year law student at Southern University Law Center, where I serve as a staff member of the Journal of International Law, Business, and Policy, a student-run publication that covers topics in international law, business law, and policy. I have been involved in editing and reviewing articles, notes, comments, essays, and speeches for the journal, as well as conducting research and writing on current issues and trends in the field. I also work as a teaching assistant for first-year law students, providing academic support and guidance under the supervision of the faculty. I conduct review sessions, prepare model answers, and assist students with their coursework and assignments. In addition, I have been working as a virtual legal assistant for Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, a national law firm that represents clients in various areas of law. I have been completing routine tasks on behalf of lawyers in all 50 states, such as drafting documents, filing motions, conducting research, and communicating with clients and courts. My goal is to become a corporate lawyer, where I can use my skills and knowledge to advise and represent businesses on their legal rights, responsibilities, and obligations. I have a strong interest and expertise in landlord-tenant litigation, as well as office administration and confidentiality. I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Administration from Southern University and A&M College, where I studied criminal justice and corrections. I am passionate about working in a field where minorities are underrepresented and where I can make a positive impact on the society and the economy.
