I am a self-motivated and progress-driven Licensed Master Social Worker. I have a passion for the social work profession along with an extensive background in several agencies that would prove to be an asset to your organization. I have provided some of my career highlights from each position that bears insight into my ability as a social worker: • Through networking with various skilled nursing facilities and collaborating with the medical staff at Prisma Health, I was able to create a safe discharge plan for a patient that had a length of stay over 400 days at Prisma Health Baptist. • I was able to independently manage all SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) cases for individuals in the ABAWD (Able Bodied Adults Without Dependents) work program who resided in Lexington County. • I was successful at creating a now thriving support group for LGBTQ adolescents at The Harriet Hancock Center through strategic community outreach and grant funding. Five years as a social worker has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the importance of human relationships and interactions, as well as dignity and self-worth of our clients. Using effective listening and problem-solving skills I am adept at fostering strong relationships that have enabled me to provide quality care to patients and clients in various environments.
