About Brigit Ferry

I am an apparel designer for the run/train team at PUMA Group. It is a thrill to work creativity and collectively to push our styles to their fullest potential, ultimately dedicated to making the best looking and performing product for our customers as possible. In this role I have ownership of multiple collections, work side by side fellow designers supporting creative ideation, cohesion of collections, style creation, and work cross-functionally with product line managers, development, and technical designers. I've also founded a small-batch lingerie company, Brigit Ferry Originals where the mission is to create flattering, comfortable, and beautiful "loungerie" pieces. Using CAD I make technical spec drawings and techpacks for production. As head creative lead and fashion designer, I pattern, sample, fit-test, and source all fabrics and notions for each piece. I communicate with manufacturers throughout the sampling and production process to identify and resolve fit issues and make pattern adjustments. I also coordinate brand outreach, marketing campaigns, and events for my brand where I get to make new vendor and customer relationships. The best part of my job is getting to lean deeply into my love of nature and show it in my design work through color and texture with each concept and fabric choice. I have experience managing the daily operations of retail stores. Through this, I've gained valuable business management knowledge and customer feedback on shopping experience and merchandise. I enjoy trying out new ideas for products, merchandising, and customer satisfaction where I can see the results in sales and growth.
