As a cross-border M&A and corporate transactional lawyer, my practice spans the key aspects of corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on M & As (public and private) and equity financings (including private and public financings, venture capital, private equity, IPOs and regulatory compliance). My clients span the full spectrum of businesses, from emerging to public companies, as well as venture capital, private equity, investment banks and other investors. My portfolio of deals includes multiple industry sectors, in particular technology, life sciences and renewables. I also advise private, public and not-for-profit entities on a broad range of corporate governance matters, and I serve clients in both English and French. As a trusted advisor to clients at every stage of the corporate lifecycle, I deliver advice that is tailored to their current situation while anticipating their future needs. My pragmatism and broad experience help clients navigate both day-to-day legal needs and significant corporate transitions – whether it is a VC financing, M&A transaction, IPO or corporate governance issue. I am qualified as a lawyer in Ontario and New York, and I leverage my prior experience as a corporate lawyer in New York City to deliver cross-border insights. After law school, I clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada for Justice Thomas Cromwell. On the personal front, my two sons keep me on my toes, and I am a proud military wife.
