About Brijen Patel

I am a Masters of Public Health graduate from Brock University. I have also completed my Bachelors of Applied Sciences in Public Health and Safety from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). I also have over two years of experience working in the Human Resources and Labour Relations fields. I am pursuing a position in the HR/LR/Public Health field because of my interest in fostering equitable workplace environments, supporting employee well-being, and driving organizational policies that positively impact both individuals and communities. I am a team player, and an effective individual worker who is passionate about the field of Public Health and Safety, because of the underdog aspect and how we help control and prevent diseases which save lives. Currently I am employed as a Labour Relations Advisor at the Canada Border Services Agency, and also a Keyholder/Sales Lead at Vans, a VF Corporation. These roles have helped me enhance various skills including being able to communicate on a professional level, and being able to work efficiently in large teams.
