Technology Support I have several years' worth of experience in technology support, where I assisted university members in resolving technical issues including hardware and software. My role often includes troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user training, which utilized my problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to both faculty and students. This experience has provided me with a strong foundation in technical knowledge and customer service. Care for Individuals with Autism My work with individuals with autism has been both challenging and deeply rewarding. In these roles, I have provided direct care, implemented individualized support plans, and employed behavioral interventions to improve the quality of life for those under my care. This experience required a high level of empathy, patience, and adaptability. It also involved collaborating with BCBA professionals to ensure comprehensive support. Through this work, I developed a keen understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with autism and their families. Aspirations in Psychology Building on my background in caregiving, I have a strong aspiration to pursue a career in psychology. My goal is to specialize in clinical psychology to provide professional mental health support. I am particularly interesed in psychological aspects of care for trauma including PTSD and accident recovery, improving quality of life for those who have debilitating illnesses both physical and mental, and working to empower individuals though various approaches. My work history has given me valuable insights into human behavior and the importance of mental health support, which I am eager to explore further through formal education and training in psychology. Overall, my diverse experiences have equipped me with a unique blend of technical proficiency, caregiving skills, and a passion for psychology. I look to further these skills to make a positive impact in the lives of others and within the mental health field.
