About Brink Williams

Started out in the Computer Industry right after high school, did night courses for a year. Was selected to work in the SASOL Kabili Project in 2001 where I gained my first 2 years in I.T support and installations. After the project ended I started working at Jasper Consultants; there I dealt with every aspect of I.T field support and networking. From base installation to server setup, desktop support and hardware setup. After 6 months I resigned due to personal issues. I then began work at NDJ Technologies where I was again responsible for all aspects of I.T support and installations, I learnt more at NDJ than ever before and worked for 4 great years. Sadly there was no possibility of promotion and I decided to forward my career elsewhere. I joined MCS in May 2008, started out supporting the company's custom developed software on site for various mining companies such as Anglo Coal, BHP Billiton and Xstrata Coal South Africa, at the start of 2010 with the company I was promoted to Field Service Team Leader. In 2011 roughly promoted to Business analyst with dual responsibilities as a Analyst and Team leader. I have grabbed every opportunity to be sent on courses and have been learning a great deal about Mining Operations and Productivity Optimization and Time Management. I now in 2017 have left MCS and started working at Tourvest in 2017. I have now moved to LAS since the beginning of 2018. Got Married, who would have guessed. I get to travel through Africa for site installations and the offices are 10 minutes from where I live. Getting to work with SQL and all the many great clients LAS has.
