I’m a design, innovation, impact practitioner & leader, mother, reader, writer, musician & person of Irish/Scottish/English heritage living on Wurundjeri & Bunurong land. All these perspectives shape my approach to work & I have a deep dedication to equity. I work with companies that share this commitment or want to do better. For 18+ years, I’ve worked with leading companies, NFPs, social enterprises & innovation agencies across the world to create more equitable futures through design, creativity & innovation. My toolbox is filled with approaches for positive social & environmental change- Guiding innovation processes from ideation to launch: research, prototyping, journey mapping, blueprinting, piloting & roadmapping - Designing services, strategy, value props, experiences, policies, products, businesses-you name it - Creating innovation capabilities: frameworks, labs & cross-functional teams to embed innovation DNA - Defining & tracking metrics across the test/build cycle, turning data into relatable insights - Applying trauma-informed, equity-centred & anti-oppression design processes, knowing when to integrate them into existing processes or use independently - Sparking change: convening people to generate ideas & mobilise resources - Leading collaborative, creative workshops around future visioning, strategy & execution - Using art, poetry & stories to foster empathy & engagement - Building strong, inclusive teams with effective leadership - Creating strong project governance structures & managing diverse relationships - Leading cross-cultural programs & partnerships that span the globe A few proud moments - At Doblin (Deloitte) in New York City, I led company's first national social impact hackathon, now in its 5th year, uniting NFPs, civil sector & Deloitte professionals to tackle wicked problems - After George Floyd’s murder, I served on Deloitte's national Black Action Council, driving anti-racism initiatives - Co-founded The Global Women’s Project, supporting of women across Cambodia, Nepal & Burundi with business-building resources, including finance, training & legal support I’m seeking a part-time role in Naarm with any company or agency working to make the world a freer and more equitable place, whatever that looks like.
