About Briony Simpson

I am currently working at Six Degrees as the Head of People. Working with people is a true passion of mine and this leadership role enables me to work in partnership with the business, sharing responsibility for the delivery of business goals and ensuring the people strategy and agenda is aligned and delivered in a timely and effective manner. I take a strategic and proactive approach to employee experience and organisational culture. This means being unafraid to challenge boundaries, deal with an uncomfortable issue and move things forward for the greater good. I will always look to support the wellbeing of the overall company, balancing what is morally right, what is commercial and what is fair and appropriate under the circumstances with great tact and sensitivity. I am an ambitious individual with a strong work ethic, demonstrated by my HR leadership and generalist background across several industries. Through my experience, I have gained excellent problem-solving skills by dealing with diverse situations and am able to communicate openly and effectively at all levels. My professionalism, pace, critical thinking, enthusiasm and dedication provide added value in a variety of situations.
