About Brisha McDowell

I’m a recent Indiana University graduate who has received my B.A. in Media. My studies has allowed me to gain unique professional experiences where I have been able to utilize my well developed communication and marketing skills. I have a love for all things media strategy, content development, and promotions. I began my professional journey working as a movie marketing intern where I specialized in implementing different strategies to promote and bring in audiences for a film by sparking interests and engaging new audiences. I then went on to work in Los Angeles, CA at Raimi Productions and Monami Productions. One of my biggest accomplishments include myself working in the development sector of Raimi Production for the film “Umma” starring Sandra Oh and now finally seeing it come to movie theaters in March 2022! I currently have been working for the State of Indiana on the COVID-19 project where I have been able to utilize and incorporate my communication skills and public relation strategies within the public health sector in order to promote and market COVID testing and vaccinations to Indiana residents. My entrepreneurial mentality allows me to exhibit adaptability within different environments, and I would love to grow with and share my expertise and talents with prospective companies/organizations.
