About Brit Kenady

I've always loved to explore, hence my decision to study astrophysics, where I could explore fundamentals of our universe and how it works. I also enjoy the challenge and creativity of identifying a problem and implementing an elegant solution, hence my pursuit of computer programming. Now I work at an intersection of physics and programming by developing software for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. I learn something new every day, tackle the logic puzzles known as software bugs, collaborate with amazing coworkers to design new features, and explore the world through CFD. I've had the opportunity to learn more about IC engines than I ever thought necessary; initiate improved documentation practices, including creating an intermediate-level guide for some of our core code; and implement a new feature to give users more control over their simulation output. I enjoy taking a user-focused approach and emphasizing code quality and team collaboration to ensure the best results and help others explore the world through CFD as well.
