About Brita Endrud

With over 10 years of experience in government affairs and public policy, I am passionate about engaging with policy makers and stakeholders to advance the interests of Rural Electric Cooperatives (RECs). As a Government Affairs Representative, I monitor and analyze federal and state legislative and regulatory developments, communicate and advocate for Minnkota's positions, and build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers. Previously, I worked as a Legislative Assistant for U.S. Senator John Hoeven, where I gained valuable insights and skills in the legislative process, policy research and constituent services. I hold a B.A. in History from the University of North Dakota, and a certification in Political Issues in Ireland Today from the University College Cork, Ireland. I have strong social networking, communication and interpersonal skills, and I enjoy working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team. I am passionate about rural America, which includes energy and agriculture policy. My goal is to contribute to Minnkota's mission of providing reliable, affordable, and environmentally responsible electricity to its members and customers.
