About Brita Long

I'm a digital marketer. I'm an SEO copywriter. But more than that, I'm a human being trying to make the world a better place through storytelling. I joined Insight Global in July 2022 as an SEO Copywriter and Content Optimization Manager. While I was initially hired to write blogs (and not much else), I quickly realized Insight Global had so much untapped potential for content marketing. In June 2024, I found an opportunity to grow my impact by creating my own role as the Content Optimization Manager. Today I lead or support multiple content marketing initiatives, from writing new web content to repurposing our webinars. I work closely with the Email Marketing Manager and the Social Marketing team to promote our content across platforms. I got my start in digital marketing back in 2012, and it's been an adventure ever since! I've leveraged my skills as a writer and SEO expert to grow my own audiences, achieve high SERP rankings for clients, and attract qualified leads for Insight Global's sales team. I dabbled in YouTube for many years, but my last video was my pregnancy announcement-and now my son is a toddler! I was also an Instagram influencer from 2017 to 2019, but I quit to focus on my mental health. I have written for Belle Brita, The Huffington Post, Enchanted Conversation, FluentU, xoJane, and more.
