In order to build a rewarding employee experience, you need to understand what matters most to your people" Meryl Streep Being a military child allowed me to experience different cultures, people, countries, and cities throughout my childhood. These memories and experiences have given me the tools to overcome obstacles and always strive to be the best version of myself. They have also allowed me to be personable with everyone I encounter and influenced my decision to pursue a career in human resources. During my undergraduate program at Saint Leo University, I interned at the Fort Eustis Army Base in the human resources department. I had to build a program that would create a simple and smooth transition on the out-processing of the military. I truly enjoyed the research and development of this project in my internship because it allowed me to combine my childhood experiences while helping others. This also encouraged me to further my education and earn my master's degree to gain more experience and knowledge and apply it every day in my professional field.
