About Britney Howard

With over seven years of experience in early childhood education, I am passionate about empowering families and young children to succeed in life. As a Family & Community Support Worker at Start At Zero, I collaborate with parents and caregivers to provide them with the tools and resources they need to support their children's emotional, social, and educational development. I also facilitate group sessions and workshops on topics such as parenting skills, child development, health and wellness, and literacy. My core competencies include curriculum design and implementation, professional development, goal setting, and communication. I am familiar with the High Scope Curriculum and other evidence-based approaches that promote active learning and positive outcomes for children and families. I am also committed to continuous improvement and learning, and I regularly participate in trainings and webinars to enhance my knowledge and skills. My mission is to create nurturing and engaging environments that foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young children and their families.
