About Britt C.

Successful development and mission operations for any spacecraft depends heavily on flight software to interface both avionics and humans. I’m grateful (and extremely lucky) for the opportunities I’ve been given to own flight software systems from cradle-to-grave for multiple vehicles all the way through successful mission operations alongside amazing teams of people. Space exploration is essential to the survival of the human race, and building spacecraft is the best job I can imagine (other than astronaut.) Nothing compares to the feeling of getting that first contact with your team! Except maybe all the additional milestones you meet together throughout the mission. And launch of course, if you’re lucky enough to get to see your own instead of supporting mission operations immediately!
