People describe me as an ambitious, inspirational, kind, enthusiastic, helpful and cheerful person. Currently I am proud to work for the Netherlands Red Cross, where I, together with our amazing teams, provide shelter to refugees from all over the world. Moreover, I am trying to make a difference in the world through various charitable activities. Most importantly, highly passionate about the charity I started when I was 12 years old. With this charity, two schools and two kindergartens are supported as well as the lives of approximately 500 children have been improved. Due to these activities I have received several awards and gave many presentations (including a TED Talk) with the goal of inspiring individuals to contribute in making this planet a better place.
