Present job accountabilities: Provide and interpret in a timely and effective manner the formal and financial procedures associated with the recording of inventions, the filing of patent applications and the prosecution and subsequent grant and maintenance of patents throughout the world which are essential for the effective protection of Huntsman's technological developments primarily in respect of the Polyurethanes and Performance Products businesses. Ensure the consistency of / manage / interrogate the data management system and produce reports of IP Portfolio. Control and register the transfer of IP rights and files in both acquisitions and divestments. Monitor worldwide changes in IP procedural law and practice, incorporate such changes into procedures operated by the global IP Group and recommend and implement other agreed changes in procedure to improve the operational efficiency of the Huntsman Shared Services IP Group. Past job accountabilities: Coordinate the filing of all applications for trade mark registrations and the maintenance of all Huntsman trademark rights of the Polyurethanes business worldwide, establish and maintain up to date, a complete and accurate record relating to these trademark portfolios. Assist the Trademark Manager in providing general trademark advice, business intelligence and appropriate training to the Huntsman businesses.
