About Brittany Bevan

I have 9 years experience working with the Not-For-Profit disability sector. I have a Bachelor in Social Work and in Graduate Certificate in Business. I am a registered Social Worker with an approach focusing on a Strength-Based Approach and Solution Focused Therapy. I am passionate about ensuring all people in society have equal rights and access to the world around them. I have a passion for increasing the voice of those that feel unheard and empowering those individuals to speak up for what they need. I sit on the Board of Directors for Nature Freedom, which looks to increase inclusion for all individuals in the community through nature activities and increasing employment opportunities for people with disability. I like to have a hands on approach and obtain the knowledge of those around me to help me become the best worker for those I am assisting or supporting. I always look to increase my knowledge and skills through furthering my studies, attending conferences or webinars.
