About Brittany Duncan

As a bookkeeper/accountant of nearly 20 years, my philosophy has always been to do what's best for the client, as I love to help people. Viewing accounting and taxes as puzzles, I thoroughly enjoy making sure I understand my clients' needs so that I can arrange the accounting puzzle to best suit their needs. Little is more rewarding than knowing I helped someone feel confident and secure about their finances and decision-making. In addition, I will be eligible for the CPA exam in summer 2015, and am looking forward to earning my license! My goal is to give each business accurate accounting information and friendly service at the same time, so they know they can trust me with their accounting needs. Specialties: With my years of small business work experience and my Bachelor of Science in Accounting, I am well-versed in cleaning up books after unkempt records, theft, and more, as well as setting up accounting systems for start-up companies. I also understand the full cycle, from what a business owner needs to run his/her business through to tax-ready books with everything a CPA needs to make taxes easy. On the tax side, I specialize in small businesses and their owners, families, and businesses dealing with R&D expenses.
