About Brittany Erikson

Analytical and clear thinker striving for empathetic, effective, and ethical leadership within the impact sector. Areas of focus and passion are partner-centric philanthropy, process development, program evaluation, clear and transparent communication, and developing young professionals. I have worked in philanthropy for nearly a decade. My areas of expertise are in trust-based philanthropy, process development, and evidence-based giving. I love to do deep dives into monitoring, evaluation, and learning strategies. I cherish and nurture relationships of trust with our partners, leading to valuable two-way learning between funder and partners. As RTNF's first programmatic staff member, I led the development of our strategy and process from the ground up, including: our mission and values, grantmaking and management process, website design and content, our grantmaking software, and an incredible network of world class changemakers and funders. In the operations design process, I maintain laser-like focus on high impact grantmaking that is partner-centric. That is, I designed a process that identifies cost-effective programs while being efficient, accessible, radically transparent, and valuing applicants' and partners' time.
