About Brittany Johnson

I am a Human Factors Engineer and UX Researcher at Sony Electronics, where I apply my knowledge of psychology and human behavior to design and evaluate user-friendly products. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina State University, where I conducted and published research on the relationship between election stress, physical health, and coping. I also have a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, which demonstrates my ability to apply data-driven methods to improve processes and outcomes.In my previous role as a User Experience Researcher at Thrivent, I led end-to-end research projects on a cross-functional product team, working closely with product designers, product owners, and software engineers to drive product development. I effectively documented and communicated research plans, findings, and implications within the team and across the organization, including members of senior leadership. I have strong written communication and presentation skills, which I used to author and present research findings at the State of North Carolina Undergraduate Creativity and Research Symposium. I am passionate about using research to understand and improve user experiences, and I am eager to bring my diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
