Let's rewind back to 2007 - Apple had just dropped the first iPhone,"Gossip Girl" was the talk of every teenager, Beyoncé ruled the charts with "Irreplaceable" and the disappearance of Madeleine McCann gripped media headlines. That same year in Perth, Western Australia, I walked into my first Year 9 media class. Little did I know, that moment would shape my entire life and career journey from then on. I fell in love with video editing as my first avenue to craft narratives, which I believe established strong foundations for expanding my skill set in preproduction and production. Having a clear vision of how I want the end product to look and feel at the start of a project makes each stage more efficient. For the past 15 years, I've pursued my passion, journeying through Broadcast and Sports Media. I'm driven by continual learning, forging connections, and producing engaging content through story telling.My expertise spans a wide range of knowledge areas including: Project Management and working with stakeholders Marketing and social media - Understanding how best to deliver a campaign Ideation of concepts and scripting Camera Operation - Technical understanding of the gear Video Editing - Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Audio Recording, mixing and soundscapes All Photography Lighting Problem-Solving - Aptitude to resolve challenges that arise during filming, editing, or post-production As the Digital Production Team Leader for the Fremantle Dockers, I lead a talented team of storytellers dedicated to showcasing the Fremantle Dockers' legacy and engaging our passionate fan base through innovative and compelling content. With a deep love for media and sport, I thrive on crafting narratives that resonate with our community and celebrate the spirit of our team. My journey in digital media has allowed me to combine my professional expertise with my personal interests, making every project a rewarding experience. Perth-born and raised, I have traveled to over 30 countries, immersing myself in different cultures and cuisines. Beyond my professional endeavours, I am an avid reader, board game enthusiast, and I love an escape room. I believe these hobbies contribute to my skill set as I love problem-solving and think outside the box.
