About Brittany Starr

With over 15 years of work experience in political affairs, I am a passionate and effective leader who drives positive change and advocacy for the orthopaedic community. As the Senior Director of Political Affairs at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), I oversee the strategic direction and execution of the organization's political program, including the Orthopaedic PAC, the second largest physician PAC in the country. I am committed to advancing the mission and vision of AAOS, and to bringing diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.In my previous role as the Director of Political Affairs at the Investment Company Institute (ICI), I managed the ICI PAC, the second largest PAC in the securities and investments sector, and grew its receipts and participation significantly. I also developed and implemented effective political strategies and outreach initiatives to support the interests and goals of the mutual fund industry. I leveraged my skills in public policy, politics, and project management to deliver high-quality results and outcomes.
