I bring ten years of experience as an educator; teaching and learning is my passion, and I love crafting meaningful learning experiences. He are the skills I will bring to your corporation: Analytical Skills. I know how to design learning experiences to meet the needs of my learners. I rely on gathering and studying existing data to determine where learners are and where they need to be to design relevant and meaningful content. Design & Development Skills. I know how to take the learner's needs to write clear goals and objectives. Then, I storyboard a comprehensive blueprint of what I plan to create before moving on to actual development within eLearning software. I am very comfortable with Articulate, but am also learning to use Captivate and other popular programs. I am prepared to create content for ILT, VILT, and self-paced eLearning within a chosen LMS. Assessment Skills. I am skilled in creating formative and summative assessments that align with the learning objectives, including scenario-based eLearning. Here, I know the goal is to have the learner apply the content in as realistic of a way as possible to assist in the transfer of the learning experience to their roles. Collaborative Skills. I highly enjoy working with teammates to make the magic happen. Collaborating on various pieces of a project is not only essential to ensure cohesiveness, but is the best way to foster great ideas and then let them flourish. Beyond the skills shared above, my tenure in K-12 education showed me I am a flexible worker who can "go with the flow" and think on my feet. I have a positive growth mindset and respond well to constructive feedback from others. I am a clear communicator, both written and orally, and I pay strong attention to detail.
