About Britten Hanson

I am a physical therapist with a demonstrated history of working in outpatient and acute care settings. I am a strong healthcare services professional with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Utah College of Health. I have loved being an outpatient physical therapist for the past 5 years. I am now making a career transition to software engineering. I’ve always had a passion for technology as a hobby and rediscovered this recently. I started this transition last year and am currently enrolled in Springboard’s Software Engineering program. I have dedicated 25 hours a week to my Springboard program while still working full-time as a physical therapist. In this program, I have been mastering skills such as: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jasmine Testing, Git and GitHub fluency. Outside of work, I've been a Utah Jazz fan since the womb. Basketball is a piece of my soul. In the future, I envision myself being a full-stack software engineer and leading teams of people to create efficient, alluring and functional products to enhance companies' missions.
