About Brittney Brown

Passionate about housing and instilling hope in others that are struggling with homelessness and housing insecurity by reminding them this is just a season. I currently serve as the Housing Director at Safe Haven Family Shelter. I love the organization Im blessed to work for. Since my employment, I have had the opportunity to revamp the housing program and grow our landlord and community housing partners exponentially. In addition to working at Safe Haven, I also run a homeless outreach non profit called Operation Not Forsaken. We provide supplies to people experiencing homelessness so they can survive on the streets and also refer them to partnering agencies that can assist them further. Working in the field of social work and imparting trauma informed care for vulnerable populations is my passion and I hope to continue this work.
