About Brittney Connery

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with a demonstrated history of working in the mental health field across outpatient, residential and medical settings. I am a strong and passionate professional skilled in working with children, adolescents, adults and families. A significant amount of my experience has focused on addressing behavioral health with trauma-informed care for marginalized communities and individuals - specifically women, children and families. My professional history includes but is not limited to clinical work with parent and child health, juvenile offenders, DCF clients, DMH clients, those struggling with addiction and those who identify with the LGBTQ community. I've also served in administrative/managerial roles wherein I've provided supervision and training for staff and executed the role of both clinical liaison and general program supervision. It is my goal to remain passionate and effective in the face of adversity so that resilience can be fostered and both dignity and equality are afforded to all.
