About Brittney Schmidt

With over six years of work experience in various roles, I have developed strong competencies in data analysis, negotiation, research, and proposal writing. I am passionate about helping people overcome their financial challenges and achieve their goals. As a Negotiations Specialist at DebtBlue, I apply my skills and knowledge to pursue resolutions to debts on behalf of clients, typically in the form of debt settlement. I value the mission and culture of DebtBlue, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as a former Marine and a student veteran. In my current role, I utilize excel database in conjunction with CRM, to analyze client debt portfolios and learn the ins and outs of various creditors. I work in a fast-paced and KPI-driven environment, where I have streamlined communication with clients and creditors and prepare and present proposals that meet their needs and expectations. I also verify statements against legal contracts and price realized documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Some of the skills that I use and improve on a daily basis are: negotiation, data analysis, research, proposal writing, clerical skills, voice over IP (VoIP), CRM databases, DebtPayPro, and Microsoft Office.
