About Brittney Wallner

I am a fifth year student attending University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. I am currently working toward to receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Mathematics. I have many restorative qualities shown in my time spent at work; solving conflicts with students and clients on a day to day basis alongside other teachers and/or parents. I have also shown restorative qualities to problem solve starting in High School when working as a Service Desk Cashier at Menards. While working I strive to individualize to clients and students as much as I can because I believe no student is the same. Although I am not in school to receive a Special Education degree, I have decided to work at Fox Valley Autism to gain some knowledge of possible situations I may experience in a future classroom, so far I have gained experiences dealing with Autism, Speech Therapy, Multiple Disability students, Behavioral Education, and Developmental Delays that I wouldn't have gained experience in my class load. I look forward to make connections to grow my own knowledge base to provide better education for current and future students.
