About Brock Hoover

I help high school students become global citizens through immersive experiences in science, culture, and conservation. I am a passionate educator, coach, and leader dedicated to helping students thrive academically, socially, and as change-makers. I have taught middle and high school students across diverse communities and Title I schools, offering interdisciplinary expertise in AP Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Creative Engineering, Physical Science, and Physical Education & Health. This breadth allows me to create hands-on, science-driven learning experiences that meet the needs of all learners.Beyond the classroom, I lead the 9th-grade team, collaborating with fellow educators to coordinate curriculum and support student success. I also coach volleyball and soccer, working directly with students to develop leadership, teamwork, and resilience. A signature part of my work is organizing annual international field trips to Uganda and Rwanda, in partnership with The Global Livingston Institute, giving students immersive experiences in conservation and cross-cultural understanding. These trips empower students to recognize their capacity to make meaningful change locally and globally, and I am eager to connect with educators, organizations, and donors who share a vision for transformative educational experiences that inspire the next generation of socially responsible leaders.
