About Brock Mott

My passion for technology began at a young age, like many of my peers, but it truly took shape when I undertook the challenge of building my own PC - my first 'adult project.' With a budget of only $500, I was drawn to the challenge of maximizing the 'price to performance' ratio of my build. Carefully selecting each component and assembling a machine capable of providing the best user experience within my allotted budget. I may not have recognized it at the time, but these first steps would inevitably help me grasp the limitless potential of computing. As I pursued my academic studies further into adulthood, I gained a deeper understanding of the business side of technology. I realized that what I had essentially accomplished at the age of 14 occurs semi-regularly in IT departments across the world. This involved conducting product research, constructing a proposal, deliberating over my 'SWOT' analysis, delivering said proposal, and negotiating finance options with my primary investor and benefactor - my father. Today, I actively pursue a career in IT, driven by my passion for technology and my commitment to discovering solutions that seamlessly integrate software and hardware. I take pride in my analytical thinking and my inclination to propose alternative approaches that challenge conventional processes. Collaborative environments are where I thrive, as I harness the diverse expertise of my team members to deliver exceptional value to both the business and its consumers. With a strong desire to evolve as a professional, whether I am supporting new products, contributing to team projects, or sharing my insights with others, I remain dedicated to pushing boundaries and leveraging the power of innovation.
