About Broderick Bills
Currently working as a postdoc in molecular biology at the University of Oregon. I use microscopy to identify the role of proteins that regulate actin networks and force production using bead motility assays and purified proteins. My PhD work was in molecular and cellular biophysics at the University of Denver. I used live-cell TIRF and confocal microscopy to understand the role of exocytic proteins for synaptic-like vesicles and multivesicular endosomes. I defended my PhD in July 2023. Prior to my work at DU, I got my BSc at Colorado School of Mines in chemical and biochemical engineering with a minor in biomedical engineering.
